You Vote With Your Click

I’d always heard that we vote for what we want our grocery stores to carry by what we purchase.  They look at our purchases and then buy more of those items.

And in this fascinating article by Seth Godin, he points out that we are also voting with our clicks – in terms of what stories are important to us, online and on other media sources.  And guess what – the results aren’t pretty.  Methinks it’s time we spread this word so that we can possibly make a positive difference.

  1. Consider the word spread……thanks.

  2. I guess this is why porn is still going strong – and the other dark roads it leads people to.

  3. Voting with our clicks…so very true!  That’s why Amazon knows us better than our loved ones!  I heard a speaker recently suggest that you ask your mate to surprise you with a book as a birthday gift.  Then, go to Amazon to buy you a book and see who was closer to what you really want.  Guess who is closer?
