What if you already had what you want? What if you already achieved your goal that you've been striving for over the last 3,5,10 years? If you think about it, when we look at where we are vs. where we want to be, we get anxious, frustrated, and maybe even a little shame finds it's way into our heads and hearts because we aren't where we want to be…yet.
What if we let it all go? What if we let go of all of that anxiety, frustration and shame and just acted as if we are already there? Today as I read my morning meditation, (yes, we motivational speakers need daily doses of good thoughts and meditations), the focus was 'We are exactly where we are supposed to be right now.' Like any meditation, there is room for the reader to have their own interpretation. My interpretation was that just for today, I am going to let go of the striving for, the wishing for, the grasping for…and act as if I'm already there.
Once I let go of all that angst, I felt lighter. I felt more grateful. I am encouraged to go through my day with a mental 'I got this!' attitude!
