This is creativity and inspiration at it’s best!

As we are coming upon the time of year that people dress up for Halloween, I wanted to share a story of an amazing elementary school girl who dresses up EVERY DAY as a famous historical woman.  She apparently has a book of “100 famous women” and chooses someone from the book to emulate for the day.  Then on some days, she’ll dress as a hero in her own eyes, like her principal or her aunt.  Very inspiring story I recommend you read!

  1. What a great example! And she gets a new outfit every day! I could get used to that!

  2. Marilyn, I love this idea but the link isn't working. I can only use my imagination and say bravo to this creative, talented girl who stands in her truth!

    • I can't access the link either, Marilyn. But I DO love the idea! And as a visual person, who LOVED biographies as a little girl – I can just picture it!  Also, as a professional actor who was paid to dress up in cool period costumes – I can only imagine how much fun it must have been for her!
