Stories That Move Us

The Power of Motivational Stories

As a motivational speaker, I have always believed in the power of story. Here's another example of a story that moves me and inspires me not to take anything in my life for granted.

Motivational Speaker Kelly Swanson - called one of North Carolina's funniest women by Our State Magazine. Kelly lifts the spirits of audiences from coast-to-coast using humor, storytelling, and lives of the characters from Prides Hollow - Kelly's make believe small town. This unique approach to motivational speaking allows Kelly to break through communications barriers and connect directly to the audience's imagination.
Her powerful stories and wacky wit will make you laugh, remind you that you matter, show you how to see beyond your obstacles, and teach you how to stand up and stick out in a crowded market.

  1. Oh my gosh, that man is amazing! I attended one of his sessions at NSA this year and not very long into it did I forget he was in a wheelchair because his personality, message and heart came through so strongly. Thank you for sharing Chad's video and placing my struggles back in perspective!

  2. Ditto. Posted this on my FB page a few weeks ago. The irony was Chad reached out that morning asking me to share — perhaps he did the same for you. The night before I was complaining about having to take off my eye make up each night. "Geez, every morning I slap on the paint and every evening I have to waste time taking it off!" Decided to STOP complaining about the makeup after watching Chad's video that morning. A wonderful perspective shift for this motivational speaker. Thanks for reminding me again.

  3. SUCH a powerful example of so many brilliant qualities. Many motivational speakers TALK about living with determination, courage, joy, gratitude and resilience. Chad LIVES it. I am in awe of him.
