Speaking Out For Moms Who Stay At Home

Because I’m a motivational speaker, I teach people to motivate themselves – mothers included. And today I wrote a post for mothers who stay at home with their kids. Wanted to share it here. Please share this with mothers you know who might need encouragement. Isn’t it almost mother’s day? Timing is probably good.

  1. Great post Kelly! Your blog prompted me to go online and… just for fun… using the mom salary wizard  (http://www.salary.com/mom-paycheck/) calculated that my wife’s annual salary as a “Stay at Home Mom” would be in excess of  $164 684.00 … and that doesn’t come close to the value I place on her choosing to stay home to care of our family… to me, it’s priceless! Thanks for the reminder… I think I’ll go let her know just how much I appreciate all that she does.

  2. Well, said, Kelly!  NO job more important than mommyhood.

I know that lady who made that comment on television has apologized, but in my humble opinion, she’d better KEEP apologizing everytime someone slams a microphone in her face.
