So, how are you really doing?

One of the first steps to getting what you want in life, is acknowledging where you are in life. Taking inventory. Some of us (especially motivational speakers) are really great at facing our feelings – or at least facing yours :)      –  others are walking around saying everything is fine, when it's not. Here's a post I wrote on the subject:

Motivational Speaker Kelly Swanson - called one of North Carolina's funniest women by Our State Magazine. Kelly lifts the spirits of audiences from coast-to-coast using humor, storytelling, and lives of the characters from Prides Hollow - Kelly's make believe small town. This unique approach to motivational speaking allows Kelly to break through communications barriers and connect directly to the audience's imagination.
Her powerful stories and wacky wit will make you laugh, remind you that you matter, show you how to see beyond your obstacles, and teach you how to stand up and stick out in a crowded market.

  1. Nice job Kelly – You speak the truth!  This could be a great topic for a women's conference!

  2. I feel like I should pay you a little somethin' for that therapy session, Kelly!  What a brilliantly written piece.  I'm going to share this one all over the place because who doesn't need to be reminded about looking truthfully inside to see how we're really doing?  My mama was from the South too and appearances were mighty important!  You made me smile :)

  3. See! Many motivational speakers know of what they speak!! And girl, this one is brilliant! Thank you so much for writing such important, potentially life changing information.

  4. Beautifully said and written – with your usual style of heartfelt humor! And ain't it the truth. Acceptance is key. How am I feeling? A little exhausted from being on the road. Which is why I'm going to stop early today, crawl under a blanket with my sweetheart, watch a good movie and age a few extra years with my wine! As always, brilliant Kelly.
