Motivational Speaker Encourages You To Ask WHAT IF?

I think there are two words you should ask yourself consistently in business – What If?

Asking "What if" opens the door to creativity. It allows you to entertain the thought of trying new things. It's the beginning of innovation.

Sometimes we are so busy doing, that we never really stop and ask "What if?"

So today is a gentle reminder. Walk away from the "to do" list. Turn off the noise. Walk away from the comfort zone. Have a cup of coffee and just sit. And when you're ready, ask yourself…

…what if…

  1. Brilliant Kelly! The brilliantly talented motivational speaker and musician Mike Rayburn poses the same question many times. And you are so right – we FORGET to do this because we get so wrapped up in stuff that we forget to stop and ask. Thanks for the reminder!

  2. Kelly, you're right it's so easy to get swallowed up by the to-do's, rather than reflect and ask, "What if?" It's my go to statement (not saying it's for everyone) when I start to get anxious that my book isn't written. I say, "What if I got hit by a bus tomorow? Do I care that I didn't write the book?" Well, you know the answer :-). From the unpublished motivational speaker in the crowd.

  3. This opens up all kinds of possibilities!  What if…I try out a new idea in my presentation…I wait until next year…I pick up the phone and ask for what I want…I change direction…

  4. Thanks Kelly for writing this, and Linda for also reference Mike Rayburn – don't you love it when multiple motivational speakers have similar inspiring messages delivered in unique brilliant ways?  I'm so happy to be affiliated with all of you guys!  What if WE ran the world???
