Love Your Little Heart on Valentines Day!

When I just THINK "Valentine's Day" – my brain conjurs up pictures of mounds of chocolate and a bottle of wine and a huge broiled lobster with a bucket of drawn butter. I know. I'm weird.

NONE of these things is particuarly heart healthy – so when I found Eliz Greene's latest blog post with some fabulous ideas for creating a special Valentine's Day – ALL of which were GREAT for my heart, I wanted to share it with you.

  1. I loved her post. Thanks for sharing, Linda! What a wealth of health information we have right at our fingertips. Thank you, internet, for raising awareness. Now the true secret is to teach people how to be motivated to do it. I guess that's where motivational speaking comes in!

  2. Good ideas, but I still like the idea of chocolate, wine and drawn butter on just about everything! heart

  3. Thanks for sharing great calorie-free, heart-healthy suggestions. I'm committed to #1 and #6 today. The sun is shining so that beach walk is happening and laughter is anytime I'm with my sweetie. As far as the chocolate, I bought everyone a favorite bag of their M&M's (jumbo size). The girls went into ther college V-day care package, sweetie's are on the counter and mine (yes I bought myself a bag of dark chocolate M&M's) were gone the day after I bought them two weeks ago!
