  1. Spot on, well said, and powerful stuff, Kelly. Should be required reading by everyone on a regular basis. Everyone. Even other motivational speakers (like yours truly) who was raised on the Blame Game and could easily slip back into it. Thanks for the powerful reminder!

  2. Amen, sister! I had an opportunity to remind myself of these truths during a recent conversation with my eldest. Let it go. Let it go. Keep it in perspective…..breathe….relax… is good.

  3. Absolutley 100% correct!  It takes a bit of practice to keep this true perspective but it's the best way to create your best life.  I love this quote that I just found that's along the same line of thought:  "If you think you can do it or you think you can't do it, you are right."  Henry Ford

  4. Whew – my hair is blown back and I can visualize you testifying like an opera singer!  Oh boy, do I need to read this every day.  I am the epitome of Pollyanna, and even I have days where I throw an itty bitty pity party, which helps NO ONE.  Thank you Kelly for helping this New Jersey Motivational Speaker take stock!

  5. Can I add my AMEN Sister to this thread?  Yes, I think our jobs as motivational speakers is to hold up a mirror gently (and sometimes not so gently) showing people that THEY are where they are because of the choices they make and continue to make. Including me!!!
