How to Take “Thank You” to an Art Form

I have LONG touted the importance and benefits of expressing your gratitude to others. And I'm sure I'm not the only motivational speaker on the planet who has done so. But this morning I found an article that articulates the value in this practice in a very powerful way. And make no mistake, I WILL be implementing one of his ideas. Want to join me?

Check out Writing a Letter That Gets You More Referrals by Jeffrey Dobkin. Oh, and if you, like me, have the SendoutCards tool, this one should be an absolute no-brainer for you.

  1. Awesome! Can't wait to read this. You are THE BEST when it comes to showing gratitude. I have a lot to learn from you. Thanks for sharing!

  2. Great article. Good timing too, as this months VOE had an amazing segment on two motivational speakers who constantly refer each other which makes it a win win for the client and for themselves. It's systemtized, just like the ideas in the article you shared. They don't keep score, they just give and give. I like that.

  3. You rock at gratitude, Linda. Yes, Send Out Cards is a cool tool for motivational speakers, sales people or anyone who needs a creative way to say thank you, or simply stay in touch with collegues, customers or clients. You were the catalyst that got me "sending" these gems, so "Thank YOU" for referring me. I am grateful.
