How to Find Possibilities Right In Your Own Home

In her acceptance speech, 2015 Tony Award winner, Lisa Kron, told us about a dream she had. And when I heard what she said every bell in my motivational speaker head started clanging and my "truth-o-meter" screamed, "DING, DING, DING, HOMERUN! OH YES OH YES!"

I invite you to watch her very short and provocative speech and then ask yourself, "Are their rooms in my house that I have yet to discover? And if there were, what would they look like? What kinds of amazing things could I do in those rooms?"

Watch, listen and be inspired.

  1. Loved this mini-speech when delivered at the Tony's. Motivational speakers could certainly learn from her well-crafted anaolgy encouraging diversity and acceptance. Personally, I thought this year's Tony's was one of the best ever!

  2. I had to listen to it a couple of times to really get it…then BAM! Eyes open, doors open, dress is on for the friekin' ballroom!!!  Love it.
