How to Feel Good When You Don’t

motivational_speaker_linda_larsen_drama"But I CAN'T feel good – I'm sick!" You've heard that, right? Or even said it maybe? Me, too. I mean, I've been wandering around my house for the last week feeling MISERABLE! Sneezing, hacking, wheezing, chills, fever – you name it.  But then something happened yesterday (rather by accident) that totally shifted – in a nanosecond – how I felt. No kidding. You might want to try this the next time you get sickly.

  1. You know I'm a believer in the costume bringing the character to life since that's what I did so many years ago!  Now to that fabulous crown:  what you did was, in effect, to put a big 'ol silly smile on top of your head!  When those smile muscles contract across your face they send out a happy "squirt" of those feel good hormones. Can I borrow that hat??

  2. This wacky motivational speaker has plenty of clown noses you can have — even one in brown in case you need to suck up to someone! What a fun read — I smiled too the second you put that "hat" on your head. So happy you're feeling better.

  3. Love love love it!!!!!! I can be feeling horrible, pukey, kill-me-now bad, and hear there's a clearance sale at Belks and it's a miracle – I am healed!

  4. Happy squirts… I thought that is what accidently happended when we are all toghether and y'all make me laugh too hard.  TMI sorry.  Linda as your sister motivational speaker and past-life professional actress, you KNOW I loved this post so so so much!  I have just added Hairpieces & Hats to my wish list!  Thank you for the smile : )

  5. This was funny and considering you weren't feeling well, well written!
