Funny Faces In The Business of Professional Speaking

Working in the business of funny motivational speakers, I get the awesome privilege of meeting some of the greats in the business. Today I want you to meet one. This guy – Jason Hewlett –  is a speaker and an entertainer – an awesome combination. I'm sharing his demo tape which has lots of wonderful moments in it. But my FAVORITE moment is when he acts out Jim Carey working at Subway. That's at minute 5:10.  So if you don't have time to watch it all – skip ahead five minutes and ten seconds in. It's brilliant work like this that proves speakers can't afford to coast, or they will find themselves in the dust of speakers like this.

Jason Hewlett, Entertainer/Speaker

Motivational Speaker Kelly Swanson - called one of North Carolina's funniest women by Our State Magazine. Kelly lifts the spirits of audiences from coast-to-coast using humor, storytelling, and lives of the characters from Prides Hollow - Kelly's make believe small town. This unique approach to motivational speaking allows Kelly to break through communications barriers and connect directly to the audience's imagination.
Her powerful stories and wacky wit will make you laugh, remind you that you matter, show you how to see beyond your obstacles, and teach you how to stand up and stick out in a crowded market.

  1. Oh for crying out loud. Damn. And I call myself a funny motivational speaker? I need to go back to the drawing board. Right now. That guy is brilliant.  And he speaks the truth. Authentically. Funnily. Wow.

  2. I know, right? It would be so easy to hate him (or at least be jealous of his talent), but he's a really nice cool guy. Authentic from the inside out. We met at NSA convention. And I said the same thing, "Damn. The bar just got raised again."  I like seeing brilliance from motivational speakers, it encourages me to try harder. I think intimidation was one of the key factors that led me to where I am today – and will lead me to where I am tomorrow. Imagine if all speakers were incredibly boring. We might not ever change. :)

  3. PS  Linda – but can he rap?

  4. I feel less funny every day!

  5. Great share, Kelly!  He gives me permission and ideas for how I can evolve as a funny motivational speaker on health and fitness!

  6. Wow – don't know how I missed this when it was posted. This is great – Jason is a rock star!!!  Thanks for sharing him!
