Did You Say Slippy Slide?

I wasn’t always considered a 5 Star chef (in my own mind).  Read this motivational speaker‘s first experience cooking in a health food kitchen 30 years ago and the lessons learned!

Motivational Speaker Polly Pitchford didn’t always know the phytochemical benefits of kale, in fact, those words weren’t even in her vocabulary 30 years ago. Neither did she see any reason to do jumping jacks on a cement surface for an hour. But all it took was a chance vegetarian cooking class and some high-energy music to open her eyes upon a whole new world of healthy living. For 30 years Polly has practiced, studied, taught, educated and lived a healthy lifestyle that makes her such a powerful speaker.

Polly’s down-to-Earth and humorous approach mirrors her own lifelong journey to lasting, positive changes. The audience walks away with tangible plans for improving their health and their lives through food, fitness and fun.

  1. Ha ha ha ha!  So you’re saying that even when I DO try some new upgrade – it doesn’t always have to work?  AND that I don’t have to let that deter me from trying again? AND that I can laugh about it?  Cool!  Double triple cool!!!

  2. Love your positioning of “upgrades” Polly. I’ve been working on upgrading my intake for years and STILL have such a long way to go. Thanks to living in such a great location, I’m able to assemble some delicious meals. Yes, assemble is my word. I’m not really a cook. But, you continue to inspire me.

    • I like the idea of using your word “assemble” in some of my communications about eating healthy, Colette! You don’t have to be a great cook to eat healthy foods, you can “assemble” a plate of delicious/nutritious!  Brilliant!!!!  Thank you!
