Blessings In Disguise

I usually don’t share blog posts from my faith blog – but I think this would apply to most of us – not matter what your faith. And, besides, I couldn’t resist sharing this picture of me at 15. For those who don’t believe I was a geek.

  1. Kelly, it’s funny how our worst times can end up being what make us the people we are – to the good. I hope that  motivational keynote speakers are not the only ones who can see this.

  2. Wow Kelly – I thought my adolescence was tough!  You know I always wanted to go to the ballroom dance classes that our school offered but my brother hid my invitation in the hall dresser and I was left out.  Thanks for your lessons they are amazing!

  3. Beautiful, truthful, and engaging post. I know your dance card is now filled, but I’m always happy to take a spin with you on the floor.

  4. Brilliant post, Kelly.  I love WORDS like this that can help people see a reality that is greater than the one they currently see.  Phenomenal.  Oh, and by the way, I happen to think you like very cute in that photo.  Seriously.  With those dimples.  Cute.  Isn’t it funny how we will NEVER see ourselves as others do.
