  1. I hear the "Happy" song as I type! Great post reminding us we can mind travel anywhere rather than deal with unpleasantness. My spot also includes sand — it's Lanaiki Beach in HI. Years ago my daughters took a picture of me sitting there sipping a Starbucks, and that image continues to make me happy!

  2. It's no surprise that my happy place is the Eiffel Tower which is why my home is filled with photos, posters, prints of this happy happy place. I know you've been there with your weather muffin, so you know what I'm saying about how magical that place is!  Love all your photos of the sunset though – now if we could only get a beach to surround the Eiffel tower!!!

  3. I'm in my happy place right now…….Wait! Who's in here with me?   I see Linda…..and Colette…..and Marilyn….and Polly….and Tami…….and Dave……………ahhhhh…….such a happy happy place.

  4. My happy/de-stress place has been the same since childhood: It's in the West Woods where I'd go for long exploration walks.  There was an opening in the tall tree canopy where the sun dappled down onto a gentle stream that spread out over huge flat rocks.  I'd lay down on a cushy bed of thick moss and feel the sun on my face, see the light and dark dance behind closed eyelids and listen to the hushed flow of the water.  Just typing this description makes my heart happy!
