I read a WONDEFUL post on this blog site by my friend and colleague, the funny motivational speaker Tim Richardson entitled My Bucket List. And that reminded me of something I did that was similar – but with a fun twist.
If you, like me, are continually looking for ways to make the people you love happy and delighted, then go to my Cool Twist on the Bucket List for a really fabulous idea!
I've just got to say, Linda, sometimes I wish you were married to me!! What an incredible person you are to ask your sweetie, rather than assume. Scott is going to appreciate your creativity as he's going to be making a list soon! I'm thinking you must take those night goggles on a camping trip sooner than later. You know there's a blog or two in the adventure at a minimum!!
Haha! Colette! I never thought about taking the night vision goggles on the camping trip! Thank you for THAT cool idea!!!
I just LOVE this post Linda! What a sweet person you are to do this for your husband. What a treat to be married to you!!!! Then again, it's pretty cool being your friend too. I went camping with the boys. I told them I'd go if they cooked steak on the grill for dinner. So while the other scouts are eating hotdogs and canned beans, we are grilling ribeyes as we "rough it". I did pretty well. It's hard to put on your fake eyelashes in the dark. And pee'ing in the woods is WAY over rated – especially when you find out there were outdoor bathrooms three feet away. And running out of your tent screaming because you saw a bug is not a good idea if you're wearing only a bra and running pants. There are just some things that aren't made for a young boy to see. And a triple D rack is one of them. I'm just saying. Have fun camping Linda!
You crack me up, Kelly! I want to have a meeting just so that I can hire you as my funny motivational speaker. You are hysterically funny!!! I was hesitant about the camping thing before I read your post. I'm sure now.
Where did you come up with this fantastic idea?? The great part is that it's never too late to give this type of list to any of our loved ones. David, Steve and Sam, get ready to write!
