As a motivational speaker I talk about getting unstuck. And many times we get stuck because we are hanging on to an unrealistic idea of how life should be. Some of us are still trying to get that darn glass slipper to fit. Others are trying to find out how to get rid of the wicked witch. And the rest are looking for that Oz behind the magic curtain. Well, I got a visit from Cinderella today. And she wanted you to know that she has a message for you. It’s posted on another site, so you’ll have to hop onto this link right here and she will fill you in on what happened once you closed the book. Please tell her I said hello.

Motivational speakers don’t get any funnier than this! Flat-out hilarious. If anyone decides to follow the link and actually read the article, read the whole thing. It has a good (and surprisingly motivating) point at the end. Thanks for digging that one out of the archives.
So funny Kelly! No wonder you’re such a great motivational speaker. I too, waited for my prince charming but no one told me what he would look like, so I took the first one to come along. Alas, he was not my prince nor was he charming. He is now what I call my ‘Starter Marriage’ that lasted all but one year. No one told me it wasn’t cool to ask for a divorce on our one year anniversary either, but I did. Thanks for sharing your story, love love loved it!
This motivational speaker had coffee spit out of her mouth on the Beauty and the Beast line. Kelly, you are a hoot. As the mother of two girls I used to cringe when the storybook ended, “And they lived happily ever after” (especially if I was having one of “those” days when I felt that their father was spending way too much time in Never Never Land) so I would add ….”because they worked hard at their relationship every day!” Great post!
